I leave a response when I especially enjoy a post on
a site or if I have something to valuable to contribute to the conversation.

Usually it is caused by the sincerness displayed in the article I read.
And after this post ARTLURKER › A
running dérive through psychogeography. I was actually moved enough
to drop a thought :-P I do have a couple of questions for you if you
usually do not mind. Is it just me or does it look as if like some of these comments look like they are written by brain dead visitors?
:-P And, if you are writing at other social sites, I'd like to follow everything new you have to post. Would you make a list the complete urls of all your public sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

Nate, The Cartesian coordinate system--which contributed to the advancement of math or sciences is not the issue---Rene Descartes is rightly credited with improving modern scientific and mathematical methods. However, Rene Descartes's meditations, his philosophy that relates to perceiving the everyday world, suffers from his highly subjective approach. He places the experience world at the domain of subjective reasoning first...he maintained that the mind was separate from the body, as such the body was merely a machine...since then we might say Descartes has removed the ontological security or how we gain direct tacit knowledge of "Being in" the world by learning things by chance or through trial and error, hence learning through experiences learned . Instead, Rene Descartes's path placed reason above experience asour way to "Being"...that is not to say that anyone is saying that we don't think or reason about the world, yet there is much of the world-- as we know it--that is not reasoned into being it is lived into being. Post-Cartesian though gives greater weight to lived experience--embodied.

That was very fascinating but I still don't understand how the belief that science must provide a certain amount of knowledge lest the world spiral into chaos is the cause of of a deliberately created social structure that has tied self-worth and status to the purchase of services and mass produced goods. How are they connected?
