Friday’s Hairy Eyeball: Bruce High Quality Foundation University
Friday’s Hairy Eyeball; graciously out staying its welcome like a well decorated Christmas tree.
This week we’d like to have everyone focus again on the Bruce High Quality Foundation (B.H.Q.F), the anonymous New York based artist collective who garnered massive kudos for their startlingly poetic affront of Jeffrey Deitch’s reality TV show, ARTSTAR, in 2005. In the summer of last year, B.H.Q.F traveled the country promoting their new university, the Bruce High Quality Foundation University (B.H.Q.F.U) via the national auditions for Bravo’s Art-World reality TV show [via ARTLURKER]. Last December the group represented in Miami for Art Basel Miami Beach with a show entitled Happy Endings at the W hotel [via Art Fag City], were included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial, and opened their current New York show, The Bruce High Quality Foundation University at Susan Inglett, which was featured by ArtObserved on Wednesday [via ArtObserved].
