The Sunday Video: Coming Soon – The Beastiality-Rights movie

This week’s Sunday Video commemorates yesterday’s U.S. premier of one of the most controversial films of all time, ’COMING SOON.’  Having already made history by sparking a Bestiality-Rights revolution in Europe the film, which is only just gracing our shores, is quickly becoming an underground classic.

We’re not even sure with what words to use to describe this film. It has everything from Arabs complaining about having 47cm long penises and how that forces them to get animal pussy, to a butcher talking about the time he realized that a pig he was about to slaughter had the soul of his dead wife so they instead of killing it he took it home to start a zoo relationship. And lets not forget the actual footage (yikes) of a group of neo-Nazis attacking a woman in her home, tying her up, killing the bull she had relations with and rubbing pieces of it’s raw bloody meat over her body.

The movie is arguably defensible as it addresses the concept of beastiality more than beastiality itself it, which is kind of intriguing, but at the end of the day it is unavoidably just about a some honest-to-god freaks, like a guy who wishes to be a satyr and so wears goat horns everywhere he goes to a porn actress who was raised in a monastery to a would-be serial killer who speaks about the meat industry like the Nazi concentration camps and likes yelling a lot.

Synopsis: “Born in the depths of the European underground, and brought to life by American Director, Sir Tijn Po, this award-winning feature debut has been drawing accolades from a slew of international thinkers, audiences and critics alike. By following the trials and tribulations of E.F.A., the world’s first Bestiality-Rights organization, ‘COMING SOON’ explores the ever-evolving boundaries of love, tolerance, sexuality, tradition, etc. Inspired by Nietzsche, Svankmajer and Pasolini, ‘COMING SOON’ presents a challenging journey for the experimental mind.

Whatever anyone says, we can’t persuade ourselves that the quazi-ethical mantras touted in defense of and by people who have relations with animals do little more than to call to attention, once again, how lost we have become in our quest for enlightenment. Like teenagers on the tail end of an acid binge when the overbearing yet practicably unrealistic truths just discovered mesh for fleeting moments with the regimented fiber of known reality causing waves of self affirmation, these individuals, publicly falling from their imagined grace to the depths of conceived debauchery, evidence one of the many dangers inherent in a commanding human trait, conviction.
