The story is perhaps that the Goldmans' have so far failed to market the area. By giving MOCA a free space, obtaining liquor licenses and opening restaurants they are attemping to push Wynwood as an art neighborhood thereby speeding up the departure of artists and arrival of retail - especially apparel shops. For the moment, in spite of the Goldmans' best efforts, Wynwood remains one big ghost town.

What a mess.
who cares about all this nonsense really. Anything good every come from a large crowd. What a mess. I like danny arenas's street makings. He planted odd looking creatures around Miami. Used cement to keep them up. Little fanfare but what a thrill to see them up. Are they still up? I saw one in Little Haiti not too long ago. If you speak with him tell him no more free work. It's the economy stupid. shameless sandy robinson
