Rube Goldberg (1883-1970) How To Get The Cotton Out Of An Aspirin Bottle had as much to with the car commercial as it did with the Fischli & Weiss film.
I like how the tempo of the Fischli & Weiss was always slightly behind the beat and irregular and I liked how the car commercial was very musical and created from a deconstructed automobile. Very Foreboding.
time + space = brilliance
