Jimmy Buffett should be forced to donate his skull to Coral Morphologic tomorrow as collateral damage for synonymizing the sea's charms with the human garbage better known as parrotheads.

This interview was epic and inspiring. Nice work all around.

Coral Morphologic's work is impassioned, gorgeous, and necessary. It's a genuine effort and because of that I agree that it'll only be a matter of time before their living art is recognized by major art authorities as well as National Geographic, SEED, etc... Not meaning to plug here but two of their saltwater reef tanks are on permanent display at Sweat Records. There's a 40-gallon tank with several of the discosoma species, harlequin sea stars, and other exotic, sustainably-harvested creatures, and a hypnotizing 8-gallon anemone tank that gets wows from everyone who sees it.

You guys have really come a long way. It seems like just yesterday that our whole house in college would be doused with saltwater when there was a "tank explosion." It's great to see you finally get the recognition you deserve.
Kudos.

Enjoyed this write up, and the photos are just fantastic - really great captures.. Always admired the photos on Morphologic, but knowing more about the thoughts behind the art always makes it more interesting.

The diminutive water-world they bring to light is captivating n hypnotic. Life has been inimitable, until now.
