I don’t think there can be anything more relaxing than that." In all actuality this is untrue, as the womb is a cramped, smelly, confusing space that seems to get smaller each day. Sounds are muffled, the beating of your mother's heart is deafening, light is obscured, and we are tossed and turned in the amniotic fluid that we inhale and urinate back onto ourselves. That is the reason we need to finally be born after 9 months. We go from one state of suffering to another state of suffering at the moment of birth. Try soaking in the bathtub for nine months while blind folded. Consume only what you excrete through a tube attached to your navel and then tell me that “I don’t think there can be anything more relaxing than that."
